The HC Group Health & Safety Policy Statement is representative HCM Contractors Inc. and HC Matcon Inc. The Policy Statement and the HC Group Health & Safety Program has been established to support the policy.

The Health and Safety Policy of the HC Group is to be proactive in the administration and management of our health and safety program. This policy will provide the methods and means for the health and safety of all HCM employees, subcontractors and visitors as legislated by the Occupational Health & Safety Act and applicable regulations.

Our corporate mandate is to establish, implement, maintain and enforce safety policies and procedures by adequately educating and training our employees in the proper implementation of safe work practices, which will help eliminate the causes of workplace accidents and illnesses.

Our goal is to suffer no lost time injuries or illnesses due to unsafe practices.

Our company health and safety policy and program will be reviewed by management on an annual basis and updated, in order to ensure compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and applicable regulations. Non-compliance issues or violations pertaining to the Occupational Health & Safety Act and applicable regulations will be reviewed, recorded and disciplinary actions will ensue for willful violations. The goal of HCM and HC Matcon is to ensure management, supervisors, forepersons, workers and subcontractors work in a safe environment that will reduce the risk of injury and illness to all workers. HCM and HC Matcon are committed to work in cooperation with the workers to create a safe work environment for everyone. Through consultation with employees we will meet this goal.
